EXPRESS CAT


I HAD TO TAKE A SYMBOL AND TURN IT INTO A BRAND. STARTING FROM THE WORDS “JUMPING” AND "CAT”, I PROVIDE ADDITIONAL MATERIALS SHOWING THE BRAND IN ITS ELEMENT. I AM ALSO REQUIRED TO MAKE THE CHANGES SUGGESTED TO THE LOGO.

YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT KIND OF PROJECT YOU’LL START ON. FOR THIS ONE, I was GIVEN AN INTERESTING CONCEPT TO DEVELOPED. THE PHRASE “JUMPING CAT“ MADE IT FUN TO COME UP WITH 12 INITIAL IDEAS, AND THEN REDUCED IT TO A UNIQUE ONE TO EXPAND IT. THE CHOSEN LOGO WORKED FOR A PACKAGING COMPANY. HAVING THIS IN MIND, AND EVEN THOUGH IT IS ALREADY A DECENT LOGO, I STILL HAD TO DO TOUCH UPS THINKING IN FUTURE ASPECTS OF IT.

AFTER POLISHING THE LOGO WHAT COMES NEXT IS PICKING THE FONT AND COLOR. ANALYZING OTHER PACKAGING DELIVERY COMPANIES MAIN COLORS TO NOT REPEAT THEM, I DECIDED TO USE A DULE RED COLOR. IT IS A COLOR THAT STADS OUT TO THE EYE, BUT IS NOT TOO BRIGHT TO BE SEEN CHILDISH. THE CHOSEN FONT HELPS CREATE THE IDEA OF SPEED, AND EXPRESS PROFESSIONALISM. HAVING ALL THIS ELEMENTS I WAS ASKED TO CREAT A BRANDBOOK.

WITH A STABLISHED IDENTITY IT WAS TIME TO SEE IT ON REAL OBJECTS. EVEN AT THIS POINT OF PRODUCTION I WAS FOCUSING ON KEEPING THE SENSE OF PACKAGING IN MIND, EMPHASIZING ON THE CARDBOARD TEXTURE FROM THE BOXES AND TRANSLATED TO THE BUSINESSCARDS.
